From the reviews
Today was my first day doing hot yoga, and let me tell you it was rough! It was rough in a good way! I followed all of the directions and I stayed hydrated throughout the whole entire process. The staff was very welcoming and gave me a tour of the facility. I got one hell of a workout in today!!!
What an amazing facility! The 26+2 was awesome, the cues were incredibly helpful and the pacing was on point! I cannot wait to return to try the Vinyasa and Weights class, as well as take advantage of the contrast therapy options. Would highly recommend. Pamala was exceptional, check out her baked goods!!!
I love this place! Agni Miami is like no other. It's warm and welcoming if you're new to yoga, hot classes, sound baths and more. It's the perfect community to start with and grow with (or continue your practice). The instructors are open, available and really want you to have your best session each and every time.
I absolutely love this studio, but I have to say—the best class by far is Hot Vinyasa with Vanessa Marrero. Her classes are simply on another level. I’ve tried many studios and instructors, and honestly, nothing even comes close. The energy, the sequencing, the intensity—everything is perfectly curated.
Teacher training at Agni Miami
Agni Miami comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Agni Miami
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
