What's on offer
What students say again and again
“I’ve been obsessed since the first class!”
From the reviews
Showed up this morning and the sauna part of the workout was broken. I will not give less stars because I still had a great workout and appreciate that you didn’t close and the instructor was still awesome 😊
I’ve been consistently coming to Body Alive Perrysburg, and it’s always a great workout. Every class is challenging, the coaches and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I always leave feeling accomplished.
I was able to call and sign up for classes in under 5 minutes! The person who answered the phone was very sweet and helpful. I went to a class later today and the instructor was very encouraging. She always was polite and informed me how classes start and work. I felt very welcomed, can’t wait to come back tomorrow!
Went to a session on a whim with a friend and found out I love it. I hadn’t worked out in years, and was relieved to find these classes are accessible to all fitness levels, and so varied that the 45 minutes passes quickly. The instructors are top-notch and so encouraging.
Teacher training at Body Alive Perrysburg
Body Alive Perrysburg comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Body Alive Perrysburg
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
