From the reviews
Amazing Studio. The owners, Mike and Jackie, are wonderful people and have an amazing staff. They are Very helpful, knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure every practice is an outstanding experience. They have heated yoga classes, classes for beginners, classes for advanced practitioners.
This place has such a friendly atmosphere and convenient location. It was so difficult for me to return to pilates and yoga in the Heights or West U areas when I moved my work location to Spring. I'm so happy that there's a place nearby. Everyone is so friendly.
I am new to reformer Pilates but I’ve done mat Pilates before. It’s been really fun and a good challenge. The instructors learn your name and the owners here are very welcoming! All ages and body types can be found here. Don’t feel shy! Also, their cafe is for anyone, not just members.
The owners Mike and Jackie are the best! So sweet and have put so much thought and care into opening the Collective. We had coffee and a toffee pretzel cookie today and both were delicious! Definitely check out the Collective for yoga, pilates, and coffee!
Your first hot yoga class at Collective Houston - Coffee Shop, Pilates, Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
