From the reviews
Portland has quite a few hot yoga/heated work out studios...but none like this. Every single one of Fuel’s classes and instructors are challenging and leave you sweat-drenched. The yoga flow classes are often as much physical exertion as their “Flex” classes in the best possible way.
Fuel is a great place for yoga with some pump! Every class is challenging regardless of level and equally open to beginners. The studio is heated but not by furnace so the air is never dry which is great. The facility itself is great with showers included. Everyone is friendly and inclusive - great community.
Earlier today, I had my first experience at Fuel with a Fuel Flex class and I left feeling better than I’ve ever felt. Opened by just about the nicest people you’d ever meet, I instantly felt a sense of warmth upon stepping inside.
I love this place! The workouts are challenging and the teachers and staff are amazing. It's a great way to get out of your head and have fun.
Your first hot yoga class at Fuel Yoga Workouts
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel (or rent them here), water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
