From the reviews
Hot on yoga is hands down my favorite hot yoga/pilates studio. I live on the opposite side of town and drive 30 minutes (one way) to do the inferno Pilates classes twice a week. Sonja is fantastic and pushes you while keeping you motivated but she KNOWS when you’re giving your all or slacking.
Very cute studio, easy check in process, clean space and equipments. Jasmine was the inferno pilates instructor and was super encouraging throughout. Overall great vibes.
best studio I’ve ever been to—every single instructor is so encouraging, they know your names, the classes are challenging for any body type or skill level and in sometimes 90-95° heat, everything is super clean and safe!
Amazing studio!! Heated and not heated options. Good prices. Classes are always great, challenging but fun and rewarding. The instructors are encouraging and adaptable to different fitness levels. Some of my favorites so far are Jasminn, Sonja, Mike, Alex, Alainna, & Alex.
Teacher training at Hot On Yoga
Hot On Yoga comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Hot On Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
