From the reviews
This place is amazing! I was referred here by a member at our yacht club and was not disappointed. I’ve been to the Hot Inferno Pilates and Yoga class, both are awesome. Also, all of the classmates and instructors are very polite. There is no judgment at this studio and they make it known.
This place is super! Clean, Organized and friendly staff. The instructors are awesome. Predictable as well as unpredictable on what is coming for the high impact Palatis. I have been to many gyms for workouts and or personal trainers. This has been by far the best experience. I am 53 and feel like 33.
I expected hot & calm – I was not prepared for how cardio-intensive the Bikram Yoga Toledo hot yoga classes are. What a workout! This is a low impact (no impact, actually) work-out focused on increasing core strength and balance. The instructors are great, Tim & Rachel are great, the space is great, great showers even!
This studio is amazing! I was introduced to Bikram by a friend in June 2012 and after much research decided to give it a try. The instructors were amazing and very helpful on my first day and everyday there after. I instantly fell in love with the owner, Kelly and her husband Bob.
Teacher training at Hot Room Toledo
Hot Room Toledo comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Hot Room Toledo
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes — there are showers on site; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
