From the reviews

My first yoga retreat experience and it was amazing. The weekend retreat started with a delicious dinner followed by yoga. Next morning started with an abundant breakfast spread, followed by nature walk, then yoga, then craft activities, and the day ended with yoga and sound bath.

Lakewood Hot Yoga is an amazing studio with fair pricing and excellent instructors (Hi Suzanne!). With the lack of accessible saunas I started hot yoga and it has been life changing. I can't think of anything better while living in the PNW and will practice it here in Lakewood as long as possible! Very recommended.

My favorite place to do yoga. I am still very new in yoga, and I have been at different yoga studios, but this one is by far my favorite because classes are not overcrowded so you can see the yoga teacher when demonstrating the poses.

★★★★★ — Jasmine, Dec 2023

The studio is easy to find and has a peaceful and welcoming ambiance. There is a variety of classes to choose from. The instructors are invested in supporting the participants’ practice goals; they offer adjustments during the class and if desired, feedback after class.

Your first hot yoga class at Hot Yoga Now - Lakewood

Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Heat and intense exercise aren't right for everyone — if you're pregnant or have heart, blood-pressure, or other health concerns, check with a doctor before your first hot class.
