Update: The manager did call me to address my concerns I listed below about the price of items. She informed me that it is necessary to purchase the HotWorx designed equipment because other equipment could melt and damage the floor of the sauna.
Absolutely love this place! I signed up in January and when they opened in March I was excited to check it out. I honestly do not like saunas lol but there’s something about sweating out my toxins, burning calories in a short time frame that keeps me there everyday.
This location is absolutely amazing. The studio is always extremely clean and organized. Lydia is a beyond incredible. She goes above and beyond and is extremely knowledgeable about any questions you might have. She makes sure everyone feels welcome and goes out of her way to help you in anyway she can.
Lydia, the owner is very kind and explains the signup process thoroughly. The studio is clean and organized. The workouts are challenging, but also fun. There is a full wall of free weights, a cable tower, bench, medicine balls, kettle bells, stationary bikes, rowers, and seated elliptical.
Your first hot yoga class at HOTWORX - Manhattan, KS (Little Apple)
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel (or rent them here), water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
