From the reviews
I love coming to Hotworx to get a great flexibility training session in - I personally don't take many of the actual classes (because I am working on very specific training), but the option to use the sauna for this has been amazing! I love that I almost always have a room to myself, and the facility is very clean.
This is the perfect gym for someone who has gym anxiety. The saunas are set up for 3 people max and the instructors on the tv give modifications for people like me who are new to the workouts. My favorite classes are hot thunder, hot barre none, and hot buns!
HOTWORX has been a godsend! I struggle with chronic pain and traditional strength training has proven to be excruciating. The heat and isometric movements have been a game changer and I can feel the effects of the heat on my tight muscles. So glad I joined.
I love that it's open 24 hours. I feel safe there no matter the time I work out alone. Easy access with your phone. I enjoy the heated rooms. Many options for working out. I also like you can purchase merchandise or drinks etc with your phone by scanning.
Your first hot yoga class at HOTWORX - San Antonio, TX - I10 & De Zavala
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
