The styles they teach
“Cues are okay but again, nowhere near the level a well trained Ashtanga or Bikram teacher would disseminate.”
“Hot yoga itself is under infrared lamps, on top of that, the studio offers a cold plunge and a steam room sauna.”
“I felt incredibly relaxed and rejuvenated after my yin yoga class!”
What's on offer
“Especially with a 15-class pack coming up to $17 per class, which is remarkable for a studio with showers, a cold plunge and a sauna.”

“As for my background: 13 years of practice, Ashtanga trained, 300-HR YTT, two 200-HR YTT.”

From the reviews
Been here about 10 times over the past few years. It's always a solid experience. The teachers have a decent, but not advanced, understanding of yoga principles. The atmosphere is solid. It also gets extremely hot, which I enjoy. Unfortunately they don't offer mat spray.
WOW what an experience! This is one of the most incredible yoga studios I've ever been to, mainly because it's a lot more than just yoga! The actual location is totally amazing. Each classroom is unique, and there's a wide variety of classes. I took Andrea's heated sculpted yoga class, and it was an excellent class.
Kinship is unrivaled. I have been going to Kinship for the last 5 years at least three times a week and have never been let down by the quality and highest standard of teaching as well as fantastic facilities.
I've been coming to kinship yoga for almost a year now, and I absolutely love it! The quality of the yoga teachings here is exceptional, the studio facilities are gorgeous, and the technology here is super cool.
Teacher training at Kinship Yoga
Kinship Yoga comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Kinship Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
