From the reviews
The Nooma family consistently encourages you and keeps the atmosphere a place you want to be in! I am so glad I took a chance on myself with Nooma! If you are a beginner and want to feel welcomed, this is where you should start.
I am moving my review up to 4 stars from 3. I am currently doing the trial. Here is what I think so far: As with any fitness class some people are really friendly and some people are just there to get fit. If you attend regularly you will start to see other regulars you can say hi to & converse with.
Little Rock is really lucky to have such a unique studio. You can tell the difference in the first visit, from the way the space is made ready for you with all materials set out to the special care the front staff takes to welcome you by name.
Nooma is unlike any other group exercise studio I’ve attended. The staff and leaders are friendly, welcoming, and professional. Each class has unique movement sequences and the leaders promote a sense of community amongst all participants.
Your first hot yoga class at nooma
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
