Came for the deep stretch class on a Sunday evening. Really enjoyed the flow and the atmosphere. Both the instructor and front desk person were incredibly friendly and personal and I felt welcomed as first time client.
Om is my favorite yoga studio in Fort Mill! It’s downtown Baxter location is perfect and walkable from the neighborhood but it also has a large lot for easy parking when needed. The studio itself is clean, intimate, and welcoming. Everyone from the Owner Maria to the many teachers are all so kind.
Hands down my favorite yoga studio! The studio itself is so peaceful and the natural light is perfect. All of the instructors are great and take time to work with you! The prenatal class is awesome and helped relax me. Just took the power flow with Diana and I was DRIPPING sweat! Such a good workout!

Teacher training at Om Yoga
Om Yoga comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Om Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
