“I strongly recommend yin and practice flow, even for hot vinyasa fanatics.”
“The space is welcoming, the infrared heat is effective for great range of motion, Tommy, the main teacher, is knowledgeable and with a great ability to connect with the students.”

From the reviews
This studio – from top to bottom & everywhere in between—is incredible . I was totally blown away by my first free class here at Practice. For starters, it is a gorgeous, impeccably designed space. It is calming and welcoming, & every interaction – from greeter to teacher—was warm.
I just moved back to town and was looking for a new studio to get back into my very outdated yoga practice. I saw the positive reviews, signed up for a free class, and was just blown away at the studio, instructors awesomeness, friendliness of owner and other people in the classes.
A truly peaceful and immersive space. From the moment you enter, the soft candlelight and warm ambiance create an immediate sense of calm. The studio is thoughtfully designed, with beautiful sound instruments that add a unique and grounding dimension to the practice.
I tried many studios after moving to this state before landing here and I finally feel at peace. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. The studio is so clean, peaceful and calm. It truly feels like home. Also, definitely attend the sound bath! What an amazing experience.
Teacher training at Practice Yoga Studio
Practice Yoga Studio comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Practice Yoga Studio
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated to around ~95°F, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
