I am currently in my second week at Santosha, after being gifted a two-week trial voucher from a friend. As my trial comes to an end, I have already chosen to continue with a monthly subscription. Before joining, I was hesitant to begin this journey.
Joining Santosha is one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself! It is so much more than just a yoga studio…whatever your body or mind needs, they have it! From their huge variety of classes to there amazing and unique instructors, you can always expect to leave feeling energized and grounded.
I joined Santosha about eight months ago, and it has been such a good thing for my health. The positive atmosphere that ALL of the instructors create in their own unique way makes it a most welcoming space. I always feel better when I start my day there.
My 3rd place - at Santosha we often talk about having a 3rd place. A home base. Somewhere to let EVERYTHING else go and truly that is Santosha to me. The community and instructors are the best of the best. 🩷
Your first hot yoga class at Santosha Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
