From the reviews
My partner and I come once a week for Abby’s class and love it so much! Really low barrier to entry yoga for today beginners, the 60 minute class is the exact same every time so you can learn and develop every time you go.
Sumits Yoga is without a doubt my favorite studio ever. ALL the instructors here are absolutely incredible. And, unlike other studios, which claim to have hot classes, Sumits actually DELIVERS on their promise (the classes are VERY HOT!) They have recently began adding vinyasa classes and I enjoy them immensely!
Best Hot yoga studio in Denver. The staff and teachers and so kind and caring about all students, no matter their experience. This is a safe place to be yourself with no judgement. The teachers clean all surfaces after each class and take the utmost care to keep the bathrooms and common area clean and tidy.
I’d tried several yoga studios and classes over the years and thought I probably wasn’t meant for yoga or yoga wasn’t meant for me. That all changed when I found Sumits. Love this place, the classes and how it makes me feel mentally and physically.
Teacher training at Sumits Yoga Littleton
Sumits Yoga Littleton comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Sumits Yoga Littleton
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
