From the reviews
I LOVE Sun Yoga Hawaii! I have been Attending classes regularly for 2 months now and really feel the benefits of the infrared hot yoga. The owner Michele has an extremely kind heart and makes me feel so welcomed at the studio and is also so encouraging.
I have been at Sun Yoga since it first opened 12 years ago. I met the owner Michelle years before when she was a hot yoga instructor at another studio. I’ve always enjoyed her classes and when she opened up Sun Yoga Hawaii in Aina Haina( where I live), I was ecstatic!
Sun Yoga Hawaii changed my whole perspective on yoga and made my vacation to Hawaii truly special. Trying out yoga with infrared heat was a completely new experience for me, and I loved it from the very first session. After just a few classes, I could already feel improvements in my flexibility and sleep.
I love Sun Yoga. The owner Michele is super and the staff is very friendly. I am definitely looking forward to doing more sessions a week and I can't wait to go back. I have tried 2 different instructors so far and they were both great instructors and they challenged me in a really good way.
Your first hot yoga class at Sun Yoga Hawaii
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
