What's on offer
From the reviews
Up until about a month ago I was one of those people who struggled with anxiety and also just thought breathing is breathing, why would I need a class to intentionally focus on just that? In reality, one of the most effective entry points for cultivating the relaxation response is altering the way in which we breathe.
My first experience at this new studio! I accidentally went to The Works in the Oyster Park shopping center but luckily this one is right across the street. The hands on assists were AMAZING I’m so glad they offer more deep stretch and slow flow classes here!
Highly highly recommend the works renew. Fun and challenging workouts in a nice, welcoming, clean, environment. All the instructors are clearly very educated and passionate about their workouts. I look forward to attending the Mat classes all day!!
All the teachers are so welcoming and make it such a fun environment to work out in. Susan, Maddy, and Amanda especially make the class challenging yet enjoyable. I always feel amazing leaving the classes.
Your first hot yoga class at The Works Renew
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated to around ~90°F, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
