From the reviews
I really love this studio, I always feel welcome. I only recently started my yoga journey in January but since then I can’t imagine a life without toga and this is the perfect place to do it! All of the staff is super friendly and helpful.
I am so happy I was recommended to come to the Yoga Roots. I’ve only been here a short time, and already have so many things to say. The owner, Shannon. She is so accommodating and helpful! She is very welcoming and treats everyone as if they’ve been there for years, even if it’s their first day.
An absolute must try. Yoga is so beneficial physically and mentally. I always leave feeling a million times better than when I walked in. Shannon and her team are the best. They are super friendly and make everyone feel right at home. The music playlists always keep me pumped.
I have been to yoga studios all over the US, and this is my favorite by far. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable, kind and applicable for all skill levels. They offer modifications for newbies, injuries - even for advanced yogis. I attend classes here a few days a week and absolutely love it.
Your first hot yoga class at The Yoga Roots
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
