From the reviews
I live in Santa Monica and was scrolling on ClassPass for a fitness studio I haven’t tried yet. I recently became obsessed with hot yoga after trying it for the first time in July 2023. I’ve been to countless studios in different locations, such as Sweat Yoga m, Modo Yoga, CorePower Yoga, y6, and more.
After attending several classes I can without a doubt state that the owners have done a wonderful job building Valley Hot Yoga Wellness Center with the amenities offered and staff hired to instruct the classes. The instructors all guide with their own style which has had me come out with different pains each time.
This is a fantastic hot yoga studio! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, and the space is very clean. They provide clean showers, lockers, and toiletries, which makes the experience super convenient. The yoga room itself is well-maintained, and the instructors consistently lead excellent classes.
Valley Hot Yoga is the opposite of the large franchised yoga studios. They will know your name after your first visit and great you like a member of the family. If you are new to yoga they will guide you to the right class.
Your first hot yoga class at Valley Hot Yoga Wellness Center
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
