Changing rating back to a 5. They have kept our beloved classes!! Old review: love vasa and have been going since it was golds gym. I have had my membership since 2002. They are canceling all of the yoga classes at various gyms.
I just came for a trial High Fitness class on Labor Day and oh my goodness it was amazing! The teacher was a sub, but she was one of the best teachers I’ve ever had!! Such great music and energy!
I’ve driven to three different Vasa locations solely to continue training with Deanis! She is the most patient, knowledgeable and supportive spin and studio instructor I’ve experienced. Vasa is lucky to have her! She’s an asset.
I came in with my grandparents trying to figure out their gym membership. It was a bit complicated but Courtney and Jenny were both super helpful and kind during the whole process. Big thank you to those two!!
Your first hot yoga class at VASA Fitness
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
