I love this studio. Yogabox Brooklyn (Prospect Heights) has such a great vibe, and every instructor I’ve taken from has been awesome. There’s a wide variety of classes, so whether you’re looking for a strong yoga flow or something more intense, there’s always a great option.
I love Yoga Box! the instructors are always super positive, engaged, friendly and welcoming, and all have great playlists! The classes are affordable and offered at great times throughout the day which is super helpful and I don't find super often.
I absolutely love Yoga Box!! It is my favorite heated sculpt workout and it is always such a fun class. I love the La Jolla location! It is clean and spacious. Every instructor I have had has been amazing and energetic. I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try out something new!
The sculpt classes are really challenging but a lot of fun. The instructors have all been super nice and welcoming. Some instructors encourage staying on beat with the music/other students which I find a little tricky. Overall, a great workout. I’d recommend!
Teacher training at Yoga Box

First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.

What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
