From the reviews
So glad to have this new location in my neighborhood now. I have taken several classes here now and would highly recommend it for anyone. I had never done yoga before my first visit and now can’t wait for my next session. The whole class experience makes feel mental and physically charged every time.
Chiara was very welcoming and helpful getting me set up for my first class and Lindsey is a great instructor. I took the Slow Flow class and it was a good decision given my age, my condition and the fact that I have not taken a class in several years. The warm room was a new experience, but it was fine.
Kellyn’s classes are amazing and she’s always challenging us! I’m always excited to attend her classes 🧘♀️ but generally so thankful for great instructors at Yoga6! Regularly coming to this studio has been such a great add to my physical and mental health.
I have been doing strength training my entire life, but Yoga is a game changer. The Yoga Six studio in Highlands Ranch is conveniently located and has a variety of classes. There is something for everyone - from beginners to advanced. I have been doing the 6am classes with Audrey and Melissa and they are both awesome.
Teacher training at YogaSix Highlands Ranch
YogaSix Highlands Ranch comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at YogaSix Highlands Ranch
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
