From the reviews
I started Bikram Yoga after hearing it from friends. The first day was a little difficult but as soon as I participated on the second day, I felt more acclimated to the environment and adapted fairly quickly in the days that followed. I ended up doing the 30 day challenge. Day 8 and so far it was all worth it.
This yoga. What a love/hate relationship. The heat, the 90 long hot torturous minutes, those bendy little yogis in the front row. But just when you think you hate it, a wave of calm washes over you, a sense of a huge weight being lifted off your shoulders, and you know you will never live without this yoga again.
Everytime I come here I learn something new. Whether it's about my practice or what my practice teaches me. All the teachers care about their students and it's clear to see. Everything is so personalized. The yoga room is beautiful and the infrared panels get the heat right to my bones and muscles.
I really liked the classes I attended. Ashley was very nice and a good instructor. The only thing I didn’t like was the snobby, know it all, pseudo alpha, guy that took it upon himself to move my mat and water without my consent because he didn’t like where I was. He’s lucky I didn’t deck him.
Your first hot yoga class at Bikram Yoga Fullerton
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
