From the reviews
This is a wonderful hot yoga studio! I’ve been coming here since they opened. The teachers are fantastic! They are always available before and after class to answer any questions and help with any poses that I want to further explore. The people that come to this studio are so friendly! I’ve made many new friends here.
Sara B.is by far the best teacher at Yoga6 La Habra! She is clear and compassionate in her approaches and in her cues. She helps everyone feel that they can work up to all the yoga poses, while she encourages everyone to listen to their bodies.
The absolute best! Hard to find a favorite teacher because they always surprise me and are great. I look forward to the time .........and they have enough variety to keep u coming! Def a place u can go to on the daily and not get bored! V. Welcoming. Worth every penny!
I love Annie’s Sculpt and Flow class! Her programming is well thought out, and she’s always changing it up so it’s never boring. I love that she uses so many combo moves so I feel like I am working so many different things in one class.
Teacher training at YogaSix La Habra
YogaSix La Habra comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at YogaSix La Habra
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
