From the reviews

Body Alive has changed my life and the way that I view fitness. I’ve tried many forms of fitness over the years and I have never seen as much change as I have with Body Alive. It’s such a supportive and uplifting environment, every time I leave class I’m excited to book the next one.

My mom and I have been going to Body Alive together for a little over a month now. The classes are different every time which keeps it fun and interesting. The instructors are all so friendly, encouraging and upbeat. They are also great at suggesting modifications so any level feels good about their workout.

★★★★★ — Jill, Mar 2025

This was a great fitness experience! I burned a lot of calories and sweat more than I ever have! & They offer a cool lavender towel after the workout which is so nice! Body Alive has helped me and my mental health so much :)

★★★★★ — Keysha, Mar 2025

I have been working out for over 30 years and I find it very difficult to find a class that challenges me and that also makes me feel great. Today’s hot Pilates class did just that I loved feeling refreshed and pushed. I definitely will go back. This was my 31st class.

Teacher training at Body Alive Anderson

Body Alive Anderson comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.

Your first hot yoga class at Body Alive Anderson

Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Heat and intense exercise aren't right for everyone — if you're pregnant or have heart, blood-pressure, or other health concerns, check with a doctor before your first hot class.
