From the reviews
Hannah S. is amazing! She is upbeat and positive. She respects your time and genuinely cares about your experience in her class. She provides clear instructions, demonstrates each exercise, assists with correcting your form, and is just overall an excellent instructor.
The facilities great, the workouts are great, and the instructors are all amazing! :) I wish the studio was a bit stricter on phone usage in class. I have seen other attendees literally talking on speakerphone mid-workout, playing their own music from their phone speakers, and taking photos/videos with myself and…
This was my first time doing a hot yoga. My experience at body alive was exceptional. From the moment I walked in. The way they greet you and the class itself was amazing. I went with my daughter who has been going quite frequently and invited me to it. The instructor was for a professional and great at what he does.
I absolutely adore BA. The ladies are soooo sweet and inviting. I don’t feel a sense of judgment that I’ve felt at other studios before. I can tell that my body is making changes for the better so that’s always a positive to going. The best part is getting addicted to something that’s challenging and that’s.
Teacher training at Body Alive Liberty Township
Body Alive Liberty Township comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Body Alive Liberty Township
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
