What's on offer
“I would call the comfort level “retreat luxury” (especially because of the beautiful genuine Indian decor individually chosen by the owner).”
What students say again and again
“But it's not just the classes that make Potomac Casa Om so special - it's the community that Hargobin has built here.”
“We were there for 5 days and did 8 yoga classes in the most beautiful space overlooking the Potomac river.”
“It's the genuine warmth of the staff, who work around the clock from sunrise till hours after sunset and Hargobind's commitment to create a unique and life-changing experience.”
From the reviews
Casa Om Potomac is a sanctuary exuding tranquility at every corner. The retreat center radiates with beauty both from its elegant Indian interior design to its surroundings in a forest by the river. Catch a sunrise or all of them, as I did, while the morning mist weaves above the Potomac and through the trees.
From the moment you arrive at Potomac Casa Om, you'll feel a sense of peace and tranquility wash over you. The center is nestled in the beautiful West Virginia countryside, surrounded by rolling hills and dense forests.
I recently returned from a retreat at Casa Om in West Virginia, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the vision and love that Argo, the owner, has poured into this space. You can see it reflected in the way the entire staff treats every guest—with genuine care and warmth.
Casa Om is an amazing place to retreat.Hargobind and team are wonderful hosts. The rooms are comfortable. The house is beautiful. The surrounding is peaceful. There are so many things to do..The river is a beautiful playground where you can go boating, tubing, paddle boarding. We did all 3.
Your first hot yoga class at Casa Om Potomac
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated to around ~105°F, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
