From the reviews
I like the studio and love the bathrooms! I prefer more alignment based yoga, but with CorePower, you know what you’re getting (ie hot “gym” yoga). But it’s a safe, fun, solid bet for yoga. The drop-in fees are a little outrageous, but if you’re a member or have never been (get that free week), no worries.
I've been going to CorePower Yoga for the past year. The classes are awesome, the teachers are well-trained and encouraging and the studios are clean! They have many class times at multiple locations in Atlanta making it very convenient to go either before or after work, as time permits!
Had Georgia Tech Alpha Phi in for a private trial group class! (set up by the manager Ben!) It was such a fun experience that ALL the girls enjoyed no matter how much yoga they had done in the past! They even had a welcome sign and gift bags for us at the end!
My friend and I were visiting Atlanta on business. This location had just opened and we stopped by to ask about their drop-in policy. The three women working that day were extremely helpful. My friend and returned the next morning to practice.
Your first hot yoga class at CorePower Yoga - Atlanta Midtown
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel (or rent them here), water, and a change of clothes — there are showers on site; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
