From the reviews

If you’re looking to for a challenge, try Susanne R’s Sculpt class. WOW!! I have practiced with many of the CP teachers in the Denver metro area when I was living in CO, and this gal knocked it out the park!! My goodness, super intense class, which is what I signed up for.

Juan's Y1 and Y2 sequences are the best! He is a great teacher for newer yogis who need some extra guidance and he welcomes any and all questions. Juan has helped me feel more comfortable and stronger in my practice, THANK YOU!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the class was great! Perfect balance of mind-calming yoga + intense workout. I also enjoyed the beautiful studio and facilities. The skylight was awesome; strike a pose, look to the sky, and feel the zen! Will definitely come again!

Your first hot yoga class at CorePower Yoga - Boulder on the Hill

Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel (or rent them here), water, and a change of clothes — there are showers on site; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Heat and intense exercise aren't right for everyone — if you're pregnant or have heart, blood-pressure, or other health concerns, check with a doctor before your first hot class.
