From the reviews

I love CorePower, been practicing there for quite some time. There's always a class available and in most cases I'll walk out feeling better than when I walked in. I'd give them that 5th star if there were more master instructors to help balance out the super crowded classes. And to offer longer (1.5 hour) sessions.

★★★★☆ — Jonathan, Dec 2019

The positive is that the classes and instructors are mostly fantastic. The drawback is that it's gotten very corporate, which is 'makes the experience feel less like your neighborhood studio, and a little more like a corporate gym

★★★★☆ — Sari, Dec 2018

EVERYTHING!!! Especially Ashley O. at North Boulder location. Been practicing with her since 2014 and she is THE BEST in every way. There is nothing I would change about her classes, which I cannot say for pretty much anyone else. Such a pleasure and whatever she's making, it needs to be a lot more!

★★★★★ — Lenka, Jul 2022

I have enjoyed practicing at CorePower, North for years. The staff and instructors are kind and supportive and emphasize practicing within personal limits. Every class is purposeful and challenging. I feel grounded, open and calm after class. I especially enjoy Sunday class with Lauren Lewis. The community is friendly.

Your first hot yoga class at CorePower Yoga - North Boulder

Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel (or rent them here), water, and a change of clothes — there are showers on site; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Heat and intense exercise aren't right for everyone — if you're pregnant or have heart, blood-pressure, or other health concerns, check with a doctor before your first hot class.
