From the reviews
First time here and first time doing hot yoga. Since I've only one class I can only speak to that but I did enjoy it. The afterwards, at least, haha. The class was tough but good. Knowledgeable instructor, good mix of relaxation, strength, and stretching.
Truly the best of the best. In addition to a great facility the yoga instructors are truly amazing. True sense of community and culture is alive here. I look forward to each session and leave feeling rejuvenated and centered. Another amazing quality is the instructors willingness to help you if you are newer to Yoga.
I would give this place infinity stars if I could !!! Top notch instructors with expertise to help everyone at any level !!! It’s a vibe … the music, the attitude and the intention of making everyone love themselves and appreciating what your body can do ♥️. It’s very welcoming and kind… a place where anyone can go.
This studio has it all: great teachers, a wonderful welcoming atmosphere, and a perfectly hot and humid room. The classes are challenging but accessible, and I always leave feeling refreshed and invigorated. Lauren and Lauren are amazing teachers, and I always try to make it to their classes.
Teacher training at Dirty Laundry Hot Yoga
Dirty Laundry Hot Yoga comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Dirty Laundry Hot Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated to around ~105°F, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes — there are showers on site; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
