“Michelle is an amazing instructor!”
From the reviews
I feel so so lucky to have found this studio during my May 2021 visit to Santa Fe! I signed up for morning yoga classes, not knowing what to expect. As soon as I walked in to the small and cozy space, I was welcomed and made to feel like I belonged.
I have found my new yoga home in Santa Fe! Today, was my 1st visit to Glomedicine and my first yoga class, after being out of practice for months, due covid closures and an injury and a demanding job. Michelle, the owner, answered all of my questions before I visited her studio.
This is the spot! Welcoming environment and very knowledgeable. Listened and structured our practice according to our needs for the day. The location is not on the Street so it may be difficult to find. Don’t let that discourage you, they are very friendly if you call and ask for directions.
Spent three weeks in Santa Fe doing Yoga with Michelle. She is a wonderful teacher! The classes are small and the instruction is excellent. I learn a lot of new postures and felt great trying a mix of her classes. She has the heat on so you can stretch better and have less pain the following day.
Your first hot yoga class at Glomedicine
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
