From the reviews
I began my yoga journey in February 2024 at Dreaming Tree Yoga. I felt such a sense of peace after my first class. I knew it needed to become a regular part of my life. The owners are kind, genuine, and treat you like family. The instructors greet you as you walk through the door and make you feel very welcome.
I had the pleasure of experiencing my first yoga class (ever!) at Dreaming Tree Yoga, and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to yoga. The instructors were incredibly welcoming and created a judgment-free environment, which made me feel completely at ease despite being a complete beginner.
I went to beach yoga tonight and it was amazing! Megan was the instructor and, as usual, taught a great class. We had beautiful weather to top it off! I love Dreaming Tree Yoga and highly recommend it to anyone
This studio is BEAUTIFUL and so are the people in it! I've never felt anything other then welcomed and at home. Even on my first day I felt like I belonged there. I had no idea what I was doing but the pace of the beginner class was perfect for that. I love the hot classes, the music is a game changer...
Teacher training at Dreaming Tree Yoga
Dreaming Tree Yoga comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Dreaming Tree Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
