From the reviews
I recently started attending Flow Yoga and it has truly been a life-changing experience. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and create a welcoming atmosphere for both beginners and advanced practitioners. Every class is thoughtfully structured and leaves me feeling refreshed and centered.
I decided to take a class at this studio out when I moved into the area and it's quickly become the my favorite place in Milltown. Not only are the classes great (challenging but in a way that you leave feeling proud), but Jess is truly amazing and fosters the most amazing community centered at her studio.
I am SO happy Flow Yoga has come to Milltown. Jess' classes are a perfect mix of challenging fun with modifications that make them accessible for all -she offers a great range of classes for all different types of yogi's. I particularly love her barre/pilates class on Sunday mornings.
Jess is the best! There is nothing like these classes, especially in Central Jersey. The studio uses infared heat which makes your body feel so good, and Jess's unique scuplt/yoga/pilates workouts are amazing.
Your first hot yoga class at Flow Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes — there are showers on site; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
