From the reviews
LOVE this place and these people! Morning, daytime, evening and week-end classes are available to accommodate everyone. That was especially important to me, because I like to attend a 90 minute Bikram class, every single day and my schedule is very rocky!
Focus is the real deal. The space, and people who fill it, are the best of the best and it sets an ideal tone for your practice. The hot room is badass and the variety of classes hits the mark each time. What truly sets this studio apart, though, is the incredible sense of community, joy and care.
Wow what an incredible class. I just took my first 90 minute Bikram class and boy how fantastic I feel. The facility here is very clean, it’s easy to book classes, you can pay as you go or buy subscriptions which I have . I have only taken 3 yoga classes prior and man this is just the Best!
Stumbling along this hidden gem a yr ago took me into my 40s the proper way. The instructors are incredible throughout all classes I’ve taken. Never knew what Yoga, let alone Hot yoga was until Focus. Great people, made many friends, accommodations like the showers are so great and much needed after these classes.
Your first hot yoga class at Focus Bryn Mawr
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
