From the reviews
Glow Yoga is more than just a studio - it is a beautiful community. I love how encouraging, supportive, and caring all of the instructors are. I appreciate that the studio listens and takes into account what we need; whether it be virtual classes, challenges (to help motivate us), donation based classes to give back…
I can't wait until I am completely done with Nursing school and have a real job with real money and a real schedule - because I LOVE this yoga studio! All of the instructors are kind, thoughtful, helpful and great at yoga.
My wife and I have been here four times. We love it. I have been to 3 other yoga studios(2 Hot Yoga and 1 regular) in town and definitely feel that Hard Core Yoga is the place for us. The flow of the stretches seems to be nice and slow.
Started with a groupon, and now I am hooked. I've tried almost every studio in the area and this is by far my favorite. I didn't start going here to get ripped, however, they offer such a good variety of classes I ended up attending daily (well almost) and am now in the best shape pf my life physically and mentally.
Teacher training at Glow Yoga
Glow Yoga comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Glow Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
