From the reviews
I have been practicing at this studio for a few months now, and I feel like it is my happy place. Firstly, I highly recommend taking advantage of the $30 new-student unlimited membership that lasts for 30 days. I signed up for a membership before my 30 days was up and now have 10% off my membership every month!
After my RHY studio unexpectedly closed, I spent about a week searching for a new hot yoga home, and I’m so glad I came across this studio. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The space is clean, beautifully maintained, and has such a calming, positive energy.
Love the Highland Yoga classes! Hot yoga that pushes you to your limits- great instructors and clean classrooms. Super monthly deals to check it out at a great price and lots of options for class times during each day-
Hi! All classes have been well taught with clear cues. In the Slow and Steady class the instructor was great and the flow was well-paced. The Power Flow was a strong class with a great sequence. Personally I found the room temperature a bit too hot for me, which made it hard to stay present in the practice.
Teacher training at Highland Yoga - Alpharetta
Highland Yoga - Alpharetta comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Highland Yoga - Alpharetta
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
