From the reviews
It was my first time on Gary Boulevard, I’m very familiar with become a yoga, I was a student on California Street years ago! My experience yesterday it Was the room,it’s really super hot I felt that it was way overheated and I fell very nauseous I have to step out after 30 minutes , and I could not make myself back…
I love Akiko. She doesn't do extra long pauses to show the moves just, keeps you flowing so by the end you are really feeling like you worked as hard as you possibly could for a full hour.
I liked the studio but they closed many months ago and have done virtually nothing to communicate to their large group of former students when the new studio will open. Their phone is disconnected and their website does not give any explanation other than they expected to reopen it sometime in the fall of 2018.
The first time I went to Bikram Yoga, I wasn't that happy about it, I had expected more of a challenge. The next time I went, the trainer explained how I was suppose to breathe and focus my mind in order to get the utmost out of it. What a difference it made! It was the toughest workout I had ever did in my life!
Your first hot yoga class at Hot Yoga Plus Seacliff
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated to around ~95°F, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
