Who doesn't love a nice slow burn? Enjoyed this event so much! Took a tour of the newly opened Hotworkx in the Warehouse District. Got the opportunity to get two great workouts in--I started off w| a core exercise and moved on to a Pilates class. Both 100+ temp but felt great to my body.
Yesterday was my first time at HOTWORX, and Markell made it an outstanding experience. I joined the free class, and from start to finish, he exceeded expectations. He answered every question with confidence and clarity, making me feel both at ease and informed.
I have had a hotworx membership for a year now and have visited several hotworx studios… this location is by far the BEST location I have been to— it’s the CLEANEST studio in the New Orleans area, has the nicest equipment, & the friendliest staff!
Out of every hotworx I’ve been to in the metro area this one by far stood out the most for its cleanliness and customer service. Markell went out of his way to make sure my girlfriend and I were taken care of and happy with our experience.

Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
