From the reviews
Kaitlyn is a wonderful fitness instructor and her pricing is very fair. She always keeps us motivated and is great at keeping her barre classes fresh with new exercises. She offers challenging workouts that require you focus on proper form and alignment.
I started going to Kaitlyn’s barre classes when gyms were reopening during the pandemic - I could barely hold a 30 sec plank! Kaitlyn was great at providing modifications and adjustments to make her clients feel comfortable and still challenging.
I had never experienced Thai massage before my session with Kaitlyn, I had NO IDEA how beneficial it would be. Stretching while getting massaged is absolutely what my body needed, I will definitely be booking another session soon. I highly recommend Kaitlyn's various classes as well :]
I’ve been personal training with Kaitlyn for a little over a year now and have had the best experience. She listens to my needs and customizes my training to meet my needs. I love her barre, boot camp and yoga classes and enjoy the Thai massages she gives.
Teacher training at KP (Fit)ness
KP (Fit)ness comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at KP (Fit)ness
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel (or rent them here), water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
