From the reviews
Living Balance is a yoga/pilates studio where you feel welcome and a part of the family. There are several classes and instructors to choose from. Feel Good Yoga is certainly my favorite. Every class is different but somehow gives you exactly what you need. You are challenged but not exhausted after the session.
Read great reviews about this studio and bought the 10-pack pass. Had 3 hot classes with Michelle, and really enjoy my experience at this studio so far! Felt welcome from the moment I walked In. Michelle is solid with her flow and she will work you...
I love this studio! Instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and create such a peaceful, welcoming environment. Each pose was explained clearly, and I appreciated the balance of challenge and relaxation throughout the session. I left feeling refreshed, centered, and energized.
Sunday night hot yoga is the place to be! Cassandra's class was meticulously thought out, tough enough for someone who has done yoga consistently but also easy to follow for a new comer! I left the class feeling accomplished and excited to return. The cooling lavender towels after a hot yoga session were a treat!
Teacher training at Living Balance Studios
Living Balance Studios comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Living Balance Studios
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
