From the reviews
This studio is truly life-changing and I’m so happy to be a member! The classes are both challenging and transcendent, pushing you physically while creating space for personal growth. The instructors are personable and deeply knowledgeable, making every session feel meaningful.
Kai (owner) is the most gifted yoga teacher I have ever come across in all my years!! He writes these sequences that feel like a symphony for my body, perfectly wringing out every muscle. All the teachers are likewise talented and thorough, with beautiful intentional sequences.
Maven Yoga is a really amazing studio, with respectful, talented instructors, a clean welcoming space, and great deals on classes. The owner, Kai, is incredibly kind and accommodating, and his classes are some of the best yoga sessions I have ever had.
I just love this studio. I came back to yoga after years away and was worried that the heat and the flow would all be too much. Each teacher has been so patient and is so skilled. I have never felt out of my depth or pushed beyond my limits.
Your first hot yoga class at Maven. A Yoga Studio.
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
