Mel-O-Yoga in Greer, SC is an absolute hidden gem in the heart of downtown Greer! I can't say enough about how much I love this studio. From the moment I first walked in, I felt right at home. There's no judgment here, and everyone, regardless of their level of experience, is encouraged and supported.
Mel-O-Yoga has been my home away from home in Greer. I adore Melanie and her style of classes. All the instructors have been delightful, I have especially enjoyed Angela, Sumner, and Beth’s classes. It’s a calming environment and a great place to quiet the mind while challenging the body.
I can’t say enough about the yoga experience that I’ve had at Mel-O-Yoga! The instructors are very caring and make sure each student is getting a great experience. The other students are very nice and great people. I joined with a membership in 2021 and have enjoyed this experience and have grown through it!

Your first hot yoga class at MEL-O-YOGA
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated to around ~85°F, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
