From the reviews
The more I go to Move More Yoga, the more I want to go back so I realized I need to write a review and share all the things I love: 1. It’s affordable. Ten packs of classes are $100 and can be used across a family 2. It’s woman-owed and Kat genuinely loves yoga.
We have arranged 2 private yoga sessions at Move More Yoga--one led by Kat and another by one of her esteemed yoga teachers. The first was for a milestone birthday (18!) and the second was a family holiday activity. Both events exceeded expectations!
We booked a family holiday session before Christmas. Kat made it fun for our group which was ages 10-58! Parents and nieces from Holland with brother and sister in law and kids home from college. Great warm yoga with lots of great music. Great area of shorewood. Neat space right across from st Robert’s church.
I went to my first Yoga Sculpt class today with Kat, who also owns Move More Yoga. While Move More definitely has it's own community, it does not feel at all exclusive. The instructors are incredibly welcoming. I LOVED the Sculpt class today. It was challenging but fun and easy to tailor the intensity up or down.
Your first hot yoga class at Move More Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
