From the reviews
This studio is such a special and healing place! I found this studio right after finishing Ranger School. If you're familiar with the course it takes a massive toll on your body (carry 100+lb of equipment for 20 hours of the day, limited sleep, food, always on your feet and in the elements...etc.
I love this place. Ever since I moved back I stay connected to this studio for hot yoga sessions. The new building located on memorial drive is BEAUTIFUL. The owner really boss'd up and did her things. Everything was neat and clean. The studio is beautiful and full of mirrors to get intune(haha) with yourself.
HIDDEN GEM is an understatement, where do I begin? This studio is the absolute best in the city. The studio, instructors AND regular students are warm, welcoming and inviting. The class options provide the perfect balance between challenge and restoration, yin and yang.
Jane has provided such a safe space in her studio. It’s a place I can go where I feel welcomed and loved by not just the teachers but the other clients too. I knew right away it was where I needed to get my 200 YTT. The flexibility she provides for training made it super easy and OH so life changing.
Teacher training at NBalance Hot Yoga & Fitness
NBalance Hot Yoga & Fitness comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at NBalance Hot Yoga & Fitness
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
