If you’re looking for a studio where there’s no judgement, a great workout and a clean studio. This is your place!!! You are encouraged to go at your own pace, whether that be more intense or less intense. I went to 5 different yoga studios in the area before going here.
Yoga asana has a reputation for being for women, but I can assure you that many men are awakening to the need for a yoga practice-- which can alleviate back pain, work muscles of the body that are rarely worked, improve balance and flexibility, and greatly reduce stress.
I recently joined Pure Power Yoga Studio at the advice of a friend and it has been an amazing addition to my weekly schedule and a refreshing challenge for me. Over the past 12 months my girlfriend and I have been jumping around yoga studios since COVID-19 closed our home base and we have not found anywhere as warm,…
I’ve been attending this Hot Yoga studio for past 2 weeks. Every instructor I’ve had is outstanding. Today I had Timothy Joy. He is one terrific Yoga instructor. Just awesome! The owner Annie is wonderful. This has to be the best Hot Yoga studio in Pittsburgh. Doesn’t get any better.
Your first hot yoga class at Pure Power Yoga Studio
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
