From the reviews
Queen City is a special yoga studio. Marla has created a space full of love and vibrancy. I feel like it is my place. I feel like I fit in and belong because people are so kind and friendly. All of the instructors are great. The vibe is super welcoming and encouraging.
I have only taken 2 classes so far, but it has been such an awesome experience! Everyone has been kind, welcoming and open. Anxiety (my main reason for starting) has affected my daily life and would at most times keep me from these experiences.
I think this is by far the best workout studio in Burlington area. The business model is top notch. They couple amazingly attentive teachers with really challenging and rewarding exercises. My favorite classes are HIIT+ and Abs of Boom!!
Grateful for Queen City Yoga! All the teachers are wonderful and there are a lot of different classes to choose from. A sanctuary in VT to move, sweat and feel amazing!
Your first hot yoga class at Queen City Yoga & Fitness
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
