From the reviews
I've been practicing at Radiance for almost 9 years. The Treehouse is a safe and welcoming space for yogis of all kinds. While all the teachers are consistently excellent, Sarah Rose is outstanding. She is knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful, kind, and creative with her flows.
Now that I have moved away, I understand just how unique and amazing this studio is. If you like HOT yoga you will love this place - their far-infrared heat panels make the experience unlike any other. It feels like sitting under the warm sun.
Radiance is everything I hoped for in a yoga studio. Welcoming, dynamic, and not at all snooty. The variety of instructors is incredible - each with their own unique style.
I have been a member for over a year and a half at Radiance Yoga. I feel so much gratitude for the instructors and other community members for creating and maintaining a studio that really is a community. Thank you folks for your intentionality!
Teacher training at Radiance Yoga
Radiance Yoga comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Radiance Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
