From the reviews
Wonderful workout and wonderful experience! Heather's class was AMAZING and the atmosphere is very calming, yet energizing! Red Skies has unexpected extras that push your experience above and beyond other yoga studios. The staff was also excellent and very professional!
Karli led a well balanced vinyasa at 6 am. I was thankful to her in allowing us to join as we were in for a work conference. The studio is spacious and clean with delightful chandeliers that acted as focal points during inversion poses. The mat rental process was affordable as was the drop in rate.
Right as I walked in, I felt such a positive energy from the people and environment. I was nervous, being it was my first class but shortly after arriving, felt right at home. The instructors are very sweet and helpful, if you’re unsure of what to do they will kindly come over and help you.
I have had nothing but great experiences at Red Skies Yoga! The studio itself is always cleanly, the staff/instructors are always energetic and creative with their classes, and the variety of class selections has something for everyone.
Teacher training at Red Skies Yoga
Red Skies Yoga comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Red Skies Yoga
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel (or rent them here), water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
