From the reviews
I’m here 2-3x per week and let me genuinely say I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I’ve been so picky about finding a new yoga studio since moving here from Tampa and having a wonderful one there. But this one beats it in so many ways. The space is gorgeous, first of all.
As a regular at this incredible yoga and Pilates studio, I can't recommend it enough! The instructors are exceptionally skilled, offering personalized guidance that ensures every session is both challenging and rewarding.
I recently completed the reformer pilates teacher training and I’m also currently enrolled in the yoga teacher training. I have had such a life changing experience so far! Jenna and all the other instructors are so supportive and understanding.
I've been going to the Soul Power classes at Southern Soul Yoga for just two weeks, and I can already see and feel a huge difference — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, too. These classes are the perfect combination of intensity and intention.
Teacher training at Southern Soul Yoga - North Shore
Southern Soul Yoga - North Shore comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming an instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — most hot-yoga trainings are Yoga Alliance registered (RYT-200 or RYT-500), and the style matters: a Bikram or hot-power lineage trains differently than a hot-vinyasa or sculpt one. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — cohorts often run in intensive weekend blocks or over several months, and many studios want you practicing regularly there first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first hot yoga class at Southern Soul Yoga - North Shore
Nervous about your first hot class? Almost everyone is, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: the room is heated, so it feels intense for the first few minutes — rest in child's pose any time you need to, no one will bat an eye. Hydrate: drink water through the day before class, not just as you arrive, and bring a bottle. What to bring: a mat and towel, water, and a change of clothes; wear something light you don't mind sweating through, and skip a heavy meal in the couple of hours beforehand. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and set up. It gets easier fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
